Who We Are
NOAH the Israeli Federation of Animal Protection Societies is an Israeli registered charity with a ‘proper management’ approval from the Israeli Association's Register of the Ministry of Justice.
NOAH has statutory status as an "Animal Welfare Organization" approved by the Minister of Agriculture in accordance with The Animal Welfare (Animal Protection) Law, 1994. This enables NOAH to enforce the law by giving it the authority to bring criminal accusations against people who break the law and its regulations in lieu of the State. It also gives NOAH the authority to file requests for injunctions and financial claims.

We believe that animals deserve to live free from suffering and mistreatment, and that the people who take care of them have a basic right to personal security.
This is why we believe that a strong gatekeeper is necessary to protect their rights and to represent their interests in the police, government offices, local authorities, and when needed, in court.

NOAH serves the animals whose voice is not heard, protecting them from suffering and abuse. NOAH does not have any paid staff or offices. All donations go directly toward supporting animal welfare activities.
